PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
Our predecessor, Mitsui Zosen Systems Research Inc. (MSR), was established in 1986 as a subsidiary company of Mitsui Engineering & Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. (MES). In April 2018, our parent company MES recognized into a holding company system and changed its trade name. Along with the parent company change, MSR also changed its name to Mitsui E&S Systems Research Inc. as a new step forward.
Our corporate philosophy is to develop as a company with value, so we have been aiming to achieve our customers’ expectation and provided the solutions and the services to the customers as their IT partner which supports their business.
Even in the recent Covid-19 situation, the evolution of IT has not stopped, and it continues to evolve at a faster speed than before. Also, due to Covid-19 virus, the change of life style has been required. The customers’ expectation for IT is getting higher, and business environment is rapidly shifting to digitalization for new normal standard with and after Covid-19.
For the digitalization, we think that data should be the fundamental of digitalization and should support decision-making. However, the data is “Alive” thing and its “Freshness” really matters. Old data can be “Rotted” and can be resulted in “Poison”. Therefore, the data obtained shall be transformed into valuable while it is fresh.
Based on these factors, we will work more closely with our customers even in this Covid-19 situation. As a result, we will have more solid understanding of our business and study issues together with the customers. Important and necessary data will be collected in a timely manner, and those data will be analyzed and utilized by MSR with AI and the latest technology to create valuable data. We aim to be a true IT partner who works for the innovation of business and working style with our valued customers.
Our Mid-term business plan 2020 which is effective for three years has started since April 2020, and that consist of three core businesses “System engineering”, “Solution service”, and “ICT”. Its second year is coming, so we will thrive each business and focus on providing digital services that combine hardware and software by our characteristics. We will continue to grow together with our valued customers, and we ask for your continued support and guidance.
