1986 Established Mitsui Engineering & Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. as the Electronic Device Manufacturing Plant of the strategic subsidiary MSR
1990 eveloped the high-resolution graphic workstation (GWS7150) and started introducing it in associated companies such as NTT.
1991 Developed the 3D high-speed graphic board (ae-100) as per the request from Toyota Caelum, and began introducing it in associated companies such as the Toyota Motor Corporation. Further, the company continued to develop a series such as ae-120, ae-210.
1994 Developed the SCH&SMP module as per the request from High Energy Accelerator Research Organization and set it in “Super-Kamiokande” in Gifu prefecture, and began testing on “Does Neutrino have a mass?”
1995 Established the Tokyo Branch Office.
1997 Started mass production of the Information Control Terminal (MiEVAH8000) for business labor-saving and acceleration.
1997 Developed and began selling new models of the Main Engine Remote Control System (BMS-2000) in collaboration with Mitsui Engineering & Shipbuilding Co., Ltd.
1998 Developed and began selling Ship Handling Systems for ship handling in a wing as per the consignment from Mitsui Engineering & Shipbuilding Co. Ltd., while docking small ships.
1999 Acquired ISO 9001: 1994 certificate for the planning, development, manufacturing and accessorial servicing of Marine Diesel Main Engine Remote Control System and Information Control Terminal (MiEVAH8000).
2000 Supplied the first machine of high-quality Video Lossless Real-Time Transmission Device (D1 gauge), developed as per the consignment from NTT, to NTT West Japan.
2002 Renewed the ISO901 registration and applied for ISO9001:2000 with a wider application range including all electronic equipments handled by business division (design, development, manufacturing and other related services) and was recertified.
2003 Established the Embedded Solutions Development Section
2004 Developed and began selling new Marine Diesel Main Engine Remote Control System (BMS-2000 II).

Acquisition of ISO9001 certificate

Electronic Solutions Department acquired the ISO9001 and JISZ9901 certifications of International Standards for quality assurance on 1999/09/28 from Nippon Kaiji Kyokai. Moreover, certifications (ISO9001 and JISQ9001) corresponding to Year 2000 version were also received on 2002/09/28, and are applicable to all products.
